For professional secrets, by contrast, no viable route is available: buying directly from the vendor offers no European data residency, processing runs on US infrastructure, whether a data processing agreement is offered at all is presented inconsistently in public, and a confidentiality agreement under section 203 of the German Criminal Code does not exist.
