Qwen für Code
The line of the Qwen family cut for programming work, with open weights, available in two size classes. It is not a tool on the file but one for your own IT: evaluation scripts, interfaces, operational automation; generated code has to be reviewed like third-party code. On the coverage question the Open Telekom Cloud carries: this model is operated there in German data centres by T-Systems itself, the confidentiality agreement under section 203 of the German Criminal Code is signed, and with no model vendor in the processing the chain is closed on this route. At IONOS - German location, likewise without a US group - the product-specific confirmation of the section 203 clause is still outstanding.
Everything section 203 requires is settled, including the provider's confidentiality undertaking. You do not have to clarify anything further.
What it is good for
- Two German routes for the same product label, in different sizes
- Open weights - no model vendor in the processing chain
- No US group in the chain on either route
Where it stops
- Not a tool for client work - the application lies in the firm's IT
- Training cut for code; legal text work is not its focus
- Generated code has to be reviewed like third-party code - it carries no warranty
Routes examined
The same model, procured differently, is a different legal position. What is examined per route is the contract chain, not the model.
