Gemini Sprachdialog

The real-time tier of the Gemini family: it takes speech directly and answers in speech, without a separate step for transcript and output - the route for accompanied conversations, taking statements of fact, or dictation with follow-up questions mid-conversation. Via Google Vertex AI the contractual chain is closed; the platform operator's service-bound confidentiality agreement under section 203 of the German Criminal Code covers this tier as it does the platform's other models, and it is callable through individual European regions. What remains to be settled separately is the conversation itself: a live dialogue transmits plain text continuously, and a recording captures everyone present.

Available through us

Everything section 203 requires is settled, including the provider's confidentiality undertaking. You do not have to clarify anything further.

What it is good for

  • Speech in, speech out in one pass - no second service provider for transcription and output
  • Callable through individual EU regions, processing committed to the EU
  • Covered by the same service-bound section 203 agreement as the platform's other models

Where it stops

  • A live speech dialogue transmits plain text continuously - redaction before transmission is only possible to a limited extent with speech
  • Per the vendor documentation the platform's global endpoint gives no residency guarantee - procurement has to be restricted to EU endpoints
  • A recording captures everyone present - consent and instruction have to be settled before first use
  • CLOUD Act exposure remains - the third-country module is mandatory

Routes examined

The same model, procured differently, is a different legal position. What is examined per route is the contract chain, not the model.

The conditions behind a conditional status - which piece is open on which route and who closes it - are set out in the full matrix in the German catalogue, and we go through them in the conversation. The German page for Gemini Sprachdialog carries the sources with their retrieval dates.
